Welcome back to another review guys!
Today I bring to you my promised review of the film sequel to Steins;Gate. I won't waste time on the plot because you guys already know that from my first review (You should read THIS first if you haven't). It's a time travel show, it's awesome, yada yada. Now we are presented with the film, does it stack up?
Well, here are my cons first off with the film, and they are gonna be very similar to my first review again because they are all about the girl. Yes, Kurisu is in fact just completely over the top romantic in this film. I know that it is done very well, I just can't help but vent because the show started her off as a GOD DAMN GREAT CHARACTER and devolved her into a weak, completely reliant female lead and it just annoys me so much! I mean, there is a scene where she just happens to be drunk and tries to basically throw herself at Okobe. Why, why couldn't they have just stayed friends and spared us the pre-porn (you know, the part of a porno where they set up some stupid reason for them to have sex).
But I will forever complain about the annoying pop culture phenomenon of putting your wein in someone because it's weird, so I'll get over it.
What I really have to say about this film is that it is absolutely fantastic. Even though the film forced in a romance (and probably just to make it more marketable), instead of just leaving it there to awkwardly dangle they actually used it to create an absolutely amazing story. And what's strange is that this film is not nearly as time travel heavy as the show. It is a film about metaphor and the bounds of time.

I can't really say that I cared for the voice acting because there is no english dub and I don't really know what makes a good Japanese voice actor. But the animation is, of course, fantastic. The soundtrack is very good as well. I can't really say anything bad about the film at all other than the romance thing above. But like I said, don't even let that get to you. This romance was handled extremely well and you can tell this film is very well thought out. I can't possibly recommend it more... unless you haven't watched the first series. That would be dumb to watch them out of order.
So go check out the list of bias after this. It's where I rank all of my reviews on a personal level. Also check out my youtube channel and stuff because fun.
Also, let's all give a round of applause to that MEWTWO TRAILER!
